Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Assist with month-end close: post journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variances.
• Perform balance sheet and subledger reconciliations; ensure accuracy and clearance.
• Support A/P, A/R, and billing in an automated environment with controls.
• Process payroll and reconcile payroll entries; manage equity (Rippling, Carta).
• Take first pass on revenue recognition (ASC 606) in NetSuite; prepare schedules.
• Identify improvements; build automations and AI-enabled workflows for closer tasks.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close ownership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience with a major ERP; NetSuite strongly preferred.
• Strong reconciliation/analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Comfort in a lean, fast-changing environment with end-to-end ownership.
