Accounting Manager - Construction

📋 Description

• Oversee AR, billing, and job costing across all jobs.
• Ensure accurate, timely billing and AR collections through closeout.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and WIP reporting.
• Handle tax filings and regulatory submissions for multiple jurisdictions.
• Supervise finance and admin team; manage cross-training coverage.
• Maintain Sage/Peachtree as system of record for financial entries.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years accounting with full-cycle AR, AP, financials, and tax filings.
• 2-year degree in Accounting required; Bachelor preferred.
• Experience with Sage/Peachtree; advanced Excel; AIA billing platforms (Procore, Textura, GC Pay).
• Knowledge of AIA billing, certified payroll, lien waivers, WIP, and job cost accounting.
• Ability to guide a small team (3–4) and cross-train for coverage.
• Attention to detail; deadline-driven; clear communication to non-financial managers.
