Accounting Manager -India Finance Lead

📋 Description

• Lead the transition of day-to-day accounting activities from the external provider into Arrive
• Own India entity accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed
• Ensure timely and accurate local statutory reporting and compliance, including GST, TDS, income
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records under Indian accounting requirements and support
• Establish and maintain documented finance processes, standard operating procedures, approval
• Coordinate statutory and tax audits, external advisors, banking partners and relevant regulatory

🎯 Requirements

• Around 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, controllership or entity finance, with at
• Qualification: CA, CMA, CPA or ACCA preferred. Candidates with an MBA/M.Com in Finance or
• Strong working knowledge of Indian accounting standards / Ind AS and statutory accounting
• Hands-on experience with Indian statutory and tax compliance, including GST, TDS, income tax
• Demonstrated ownership of general ledger, account reconciliations, month-end/year-end close
• Experience working with external accounting, tax or audit providers and managing vendor
