Accounts Receivable Specialist - Construction

📋 Description

• Process 35–45 bills per month across multiple contracts.
• Review contracts before billing to confirm terms, retention, line items.
• Create and configure new jobs in SAGE 50 based on reviewed terms.
• Build and maintain billing spreadsheets aligned to SAGE records.
• Receive, code, and track vendor and subcontractor invoices in SAGE 50.
• Prepare lien waivers for subcontractors with payment processing.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in Accounting preferred; HS diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years billing, accounts payable, or accounting support experience.
• Construction/project-based billing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with contract billing platforms (Textura, Procore) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with formulas.
• Ability to read/interpret contract billing terms, retention, and payment schedules.
