Advanced Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Installs, configures, upgrades, and maintains servers and systems.
• Develops and maintains Ansible playbooks for configuration management and automation.
• Performs weekly system audit reviews, media reviews, and hardware/software configuration management.
• Runs monthly scans and works with the team to review and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Executes security testing and evaluation to confirm security controls are implemented correctly.
• Supports Risk Management Framework activities, including continuous monitoring and vulnerability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows administration experience.
• Experience with SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, and ACAS/Nessus.
• Understanding of STIGs and vulnerability resolution.
• Ansible knowledge, including developing and maintaining playbooks.
