Agentic Staff Engineer (All Genders)

📋 Description

• Own agentic systems vision and architecture (tools, memory, planning, human-in-the-loop).
• Design/evolve the internal orchestration stack (registry, permissions, lifecycle, audit trails).
• Define standards for reliability and debuggability: traceability, replay, fallbacks.
• Lead cross-team initiatives across Product, Data, Infra, Security, and ML.
• Set platform direction: Vertex AI routing, caching, prompts, observability, governance.
• Establish safety/compliance controls: data access governance, prompt defenses, secrets management.

🎯 Requirements

• Professional English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Extensive experience designing/operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Deep understanding of agentic patterns and failure modes (tool/function calling, orchestration, memory, planning, routing, evaluation).
• Proven track record of technical leadership across multiple teams; setting standards and roadmaps.
• Strong system design: multi-tenant architectures, permissions, data governance.
• Strong operational mindset: observability, production debugging, incident response.
