AI Deployment Engineer, Startups

📋 Description

• Work directly with strategic startup customers to map workflows and identify improvement opportunities.

• Prototype and iterate on prompts, agents, and workflows to study system behavior.

• Synthesize feedback to Product/Research: create reproducible evals and artifacts.

• Build repeatable tools and evaluation approaches to raise quality across use cases.

• Operate with strong judgment in ambiguous settings; balance quick fixes with long-term improvements.

• Build relationships in the startup ecosystem as a technical partner to customers.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software eng & AI fundamentals; startup CTO/engineer/Data Scientist exp.

• Technical founder or engineer at an early-stage startup.

• Familiarity with model training pipelines and reinforcement learning.

• Experience building AI apps/agents/eval systems; reason about model behavior.

• Comfortable with highly technical users; translate challenges into signals.

• Move between prototyping, debugging, evaluation design; cross-functional communication.
