📋 Description

• Build and maintain the Apify MCP Server; expose Actors as tools.
• Keep the server ahead of changing protocols: stateless transports, auth hardening, tool discovery.
• Shape the AI agent runtime: tools, execution, end-to-end tasks.
• Help autonomous agents discover and pay for Apify tools.
• Build evals from production traces to catch regressions in CI.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years building real software; backend in Node.js/TypeScript or Python.
• Built software on top of LLMs; manage tool calls, context growth, and agent accuracy.
• Curious and self-directed; comfortable with loosely defined problems.
• Experience with Apify platform or desire to build widely used tools.
• Good English communication.
