AI Field Engineer

📋 Description

• Build end-to-end POCs and MVPs with customer teams, in their codebases and infra.
• Architect inference foundations and scale deployments to avoid bottlenecks.
• Run load tests; establish latency, throughput, and cost baselines; tune deployments.
• Deploy/validate new model families on vLLM/SGLang; tune shapes and serving.
• Lead discovery conversations; align stakeholders; translate pain points to product improvements.
• Spend time on-site with customers; build trust in person.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in a hands-on, customer-facing technical role.
• Proven track record shipping production software with customers.
• Strong Python; experience with Kubernetes and infra engineering.
• LLM stack knowledge: inference, model serving, fine-tuning (SFT min).
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and GPU model deployment.
• Excellent communication: discovery calls, VP presentations, latency debugging.
