AI Governance and Controls Architect

📋 Description

• Design and implement governance controls across the AI lifecycle.
• Lead technical assurance reviews for AI solutions and validate mitigations.
• Develop governance artifacts: docs, reports, diagrams, risk assessments.
• Establish continuous monitoring, automated validation, dashboards, and reporting for AI oversight.
• Partner with engineering, product, security, legal, privacy, and data governance to embed governance into workflows.
• Serve as senior technical advisor on AI governance and drive improvements to risk management processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, Info Security, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years governing AI/ML systems in production or near-production.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, and modern AI architectures.
• Experience translating governance frameworks into technical controls and engineering standards.
• Familiarity with AI governance/security frameworks (NIST AI RMF, NIST CSF, SOC 2).
• Experience supporting audits or regulatory reviews via technical docs and evidence.
