📋 Description

• Learn data infra: BigQuery, storage, IAM, Vertex AI pipelines, Dataform, streaming.
• Own data pipelines: scheduled jobs, data copy, backfill to keep data ready.
• Collaborate with AI/DS teams; align with peers and manager before owning.
• Expose to open-source tools; contribute back to communities.
• Own data governance: retention, anonymization, access separation.
• Expand data platform for new channels and segments.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong data engineering or infrastructure experience with a data focus.
• Hands-on with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses; schemas and governance.
• Infra-as-code experience (Terraform) and provisioning cloud resources.
• Think in data contracts: freshness, lineage, quality, downstream deps.
• Privacy-aware data handling: retention, anonymization, access separation.
• Able to turn ambiguous needs into durable infra and data plans.
