AI Research Engineer

📋 Description

• Research engineer contributing to AI research and hardware-aware AI algorithms
• Work on efficient training/inference, world models, RL, and related AI hardware challenges
• Translate ideas into scalable implementations with researchers and engineers
• Publish and present results at conferences/workshops
• Collaborate across Graphcore’s silicon, software, and hardware teams

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s, PhD or equivalent in technical field (e.g., Maths, CS, Physics)
• Python in deep learning (PyTorch or JAX)
• Deep learning fundamentals: models, optimisation, evaluation, scaling
• Experience designing and running ML experiments
• Lower-level programming for hardware efficiency (C++/CUDA/Triton)
• Familiar with hardware aspects for DL: threads, caches, vector/matrix engines, data deps
