AI Research Engineer - Robotics

📋 Description

• Design, train and deploy RL-based controllers for robots in real environments.
• Own full pipeline from simulation to deployment under hardware constraints.
• Fuse sensory inputs (vision included) for robust control policies.
• Work within autonomous robotics for unstructured, dynamic settings.
• Collaborate with AI/engineering teams across Europe.
• Publish and present findings when appropriate.

🎯 Requirements

• MSc/PhD in Robotics, ML, Control; strong RL focus.
• Hands-on RL on real hardware; not just sim.
• Expertise in PPO, SAC, TD3, model-based RL, sim-to-real, domain randomisation, curriculum learning.
• Solid knowledge of robot dynamics, kinematics, PID, MPC, trajectory optimization.
• Proficient in Python and C++/Rust; production-grade software skills.
• Strong communication; able to present research clearly.
