📋 Description

• Design and conduct research on multilingual datasets: collection, filtering, dedup, quality.
• Develop strategies for low-resource languages via sampling, augmentation, and curriculum learning.
• Research and improve multilingual LLMs via cross-lingual transfer, alignment, and robustness.
• Build and refine multilingual evaluation benchmarks across languages.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to influence training pipelines, architectures, and deployment.
• Publish research at leading AI/NLP conferences and contribute to open-source.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced background in NLP, ML, AI, or a closely related field.
• Proven research in multilingual/cross-lingual LMs with publications (ACL/EMNLP/NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR).
• Hands-on with large-scale multilingual datasets and modern ML workflows.
• Deep knowledge of multilingual tokenization, vocab design, transfer learning, and bias mitigation.
• Python proficiency with PyTorch or JAX.
• Ability to work independently and deliver in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience with low-resource languages, non-Latin scripts, and multilingual benchmarks is a strong advantage.
