AI Researcher – Multilingual Data

📋 Description

• Design research on multilingual datasets (collection, filtering, quality)
• Develop strategies for low-resource languages via augmentation
• Improve multilingual LLMs with cross-lingual transfer and robustness
• Build multilingual evaluation benchmarks across languages
• Collaborate with engineers on training pipelines and deployment
• Publish findings at AI/NLP venues and contribute to open-source
• Translate research into production-ready improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced background in NLP, ML, or AI
• Proven research in multilingual/cross-lingual modeling with publications
• Hands-on with large-scale multilingual datasets and ML workflows
• Strong tokenization, vocabulary design, transfer learning, bias mitigation
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch or JAX
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup
• Experience with XTREME/FLORES/TyDi QA is a plus
