AI Researcher – Multilingual Data

📋 Description

• Design and conduct multilingual dataset research (collection, filtering, dedup)
• Develop strategies for low-resource languages using sampling and data augmentation
• Improve multilingual LLMs with cross-lingual transfer, alignment, robustness
• Create and refine multilingual evaluation benchmarks
• Collaborate with ML engineers to influence training and deployment
• Publish research at AI/NLP conferences and contribute to open source

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced background in NLP, ML, or AI.
• Publications in multilingual/cross-lingual modeling (ACL/NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR)
• Hands-on with large-scale multilingual datasets and ML workflows.
• Tokenization, vocab design, transfer learning, bias mitigation.
• Python proficiency with PyTorch or JAX.
• Ability to work independently and manage research in a startup.
• Experience with low-resource languages, non-Latin scripts, and XTREME is a plus.
