AI Researcher – Multilingual Data

📋 Description

• Design and conduct multilingual dataset research: collection, filtering, deduplication.
• Develop strategies for low-resource languages via sampling, augmentation, and curriculum learning.
• Improve multilingual LLMs via cross-lingual transfer, alignment, robustness, and representation learning.
• Build and refine multilingual evaluation benchmarks across languages.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and researchers to influence training pipelines, models, and deployment.
• Publish research findings at AI NLP conferences and contribute to open-source when appropriate.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced background in NLP, ML, AI, or related field.
• Proven research in multilingual or cross-lingual modeling with publications (ACL/EMNLP/NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR).
• Hands-on experience with large-scale multilingual text datasets and modern ML workflows.
• Strong understanding of multilingual tokenization, vocabulary design, transfer learning, and bias mitigation.
• Proficiency in Python and DL frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
• Ability to work independently, manage research initiatives, and deliver results in a fast-moving startup.
