Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain dbt models for GTM analytics.
• Develop semantic/metrics layer for dashboards and AI.
• Define and document metric definitions for Halter.
• Partner with Data Engineering on upstream pipelines and BI on downstream.
• Maintain documentation, lineage and data quality testing across the modelling layer.
• Stay up-to-date with area of expertise and better ways of working.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in SQL and dimensional data modelling.
• Strong dbt knowledge (staging, marts, tests, docs, metrics).
• Foundational AI knowledge and openness to AI tools.
• Experience defining metrics and analytics-ready datasets with BI consumers.
• Python for orchestration; Airflow is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder skills and a product mindset.
• Experience with AWS-based analytics stacks (S3, Athena, Glue) and GitHub CI/CD.
