Android Engineer, Dev Productivity

📋 Description

• Design, build and maintain tools and infra to boost productivity.
• Own the developer productivity platform for Stripe Terminal tooling.
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to translate workflows into solutions.
• Improve build, CI/CD and test automation for SDKs, Android apps and firmware.
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery to rollout and operation.
• Mentor engineers in build, test and release best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years in software engineering with backend and Android/mobile or embedded/firmware.
• Experience designing, implementing and maintaining production systems or developer tooling.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and modern build systems.
• Experience with Android build/test tooling (Gradle, emulators, device farms) or firmware build pipelines.
