Anti Abuse Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor abuse signals across telemetry, reports, and alerts.
• Triage abuse cases end-to-end; assess severity and route.
• Own abuse case queue with SLAs to prevent aging threats.
• Identify patterns across cases indicating campaigns or techniques.
• Lead incidents with Platform/Infra teams to containment and remediation.
• Write clear user and internal incident communications.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in security ops, trust & safety, or abuse-focused engineering.
• Hands-on detection logic: write rules, tune thresholds, reduce noise.
• End-to-end incident response: triage, containment, communications, postmortems.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for log analysis, pattern detection, automation.
• Familiar with credential stuffing, ATO, compute abuse, exfiltration.
• Thrive in async-first, globally distributed teams with clear docs.
