AOCS Engineer

📋 Description

• Analyze and improve on-orbit performance of AOCS components across a constellation of 40+ satellites
• Lead market studies and trade evaluations for new ADCS and propulsion hardware, and introduce new
• Define, execute, and maintain verification procedures for AOCS components
• Lead or contribute to AOCS anomaly investigations across multiple engineering domains to identify
• Maintain and improve operational procedures related to AOCS
• Drive process improvements that affect the full in-orbit satellite constellation

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in Physics, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience designing, operating, or testing AOCS equipment or spacecraft hardware
• Strong understanding of AOCS fundamentals: rigid body motion, differential equations, coordinate
• Solid understanding of astrodynamics and attitude determination and control principles
• Working knowledge of Python and Git
• Experience with electronic lab hardware (power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.)
