AP Accountant

📋 Description

• Preparing and entering journal entries for month-end close processes specific to accounts payable
• Completing account reconciliations and rollforwards and providing variance analysis monthly
• Monitoring and facilitating correction of intercompany as necessary
• Monitoring utility portal to ensure invoices are fed in completely and paid timely
• Acting as a subject matter expert for specialized accounting areas/systems, including training and
• Acting as Team Leader including mentoring new hires, leading projects, and resolving issues

🎯 Requirements

• Experience recording monthly journal entries, accruals, reclasses, etc.
• Experience conducting variance analysis
• Experience with monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience with AP reconciliation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• 1-2+ years of relevant experience
