Application Developer - JavaScript

📋 Description

• Develop prototype apps and proofs of concept with JavaScript, TypeScript, ArcGIS Maps SDK
• Design and implement user experiences for web apps, cartographic visualizations, and interactive maps
• Prototype and experiment with web maps, scenes, and spatial visualizations in browser
• Use React, Angular, Svelte, or Vue to build stand-alone apps and reusable UI components
• Collaborate with core SDK teams during sprints, provide API and docs feedback
• Explore WebGL and browser-based real-time visualization for 2D/3D spatial experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing web applications using JavaScript; TypeScript experience preferred
• Experience with modern web application frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, or similar technologies
• Experience with code management systems and CI/CD
• Foundational understanding of digital cartography, data visualization, or geospatial application development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field
