Application Engineer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with project teams to deliver solutions for modernizing legacy SQL-based applications
• Apply your knowledge of Java (or similar programming languages) and relational databases to support
• Follow and contribute to best practice playbooks for migrations and modern application development
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, especially MongoDB, GenAI tools, and cloud
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives to improve team processes and outputs
• Communicate progress, challenges, and ideas effectively within the team and to stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in
• Core programming concepts specific to JAVA
• Relational databases and SQL, including basic stored procedures
• Application debugging and performance tuning
• Exposure to one or more enterprise application architectures, such as Spring Boot or Hibernate
• Experience working in Agile teams, with a familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git for version
