Application Engineer - Burners

📋 Description

• Provide technical application support to sales during pre-sales for industrial burners.
• Review inquiries, data sheets, PFDs, P&IDs, specs, and tender docs to define requirements.
• Perform combustion and thermal calculations for burner sizing, heat balance, air, fuel, and emissions.
• Prepare proposals, datasheets, sizing calculations, and process docs.
• Recommend burner technologies based on process conditions, fuels, and objectives.
• Travel to customer sites for discussions, commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong understanding of industrial combustion systems and burner tech.
• Experience with Oil & Gas Burners, Process Burners, Boiler Burners.
• Hands-on burner sizing, combustion calculations, Heat & Material Balance (HMB), valve sizing.
• Knowledge of API standards, ASME codes, PED, IBR.
• Familiarity with low-NOx combustion and emissions reduction.
• Proficiency in Excel, VBA, Python, or process simulation software.
