Application Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Work with engineering and product teams to advance security initiatives across apps, cloud infra
• Design, review, and improve secure architectures following secure-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with Product, Software, Architects, and DevOps to embed security into workflows.
• Assess security controls across cloud, apps, and CI/CD pipelines for best practices.
• Develop and promote security standards, policies, and controls.
• Build automated threat modelling to support secure development.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience integrating security tooling and automated controls into CI/CD.
• Hands-on with JavaScript/TypeScript applications and microservices.
• CI/CD platforms + IaC tools (Terraform/Helm/CloudFormation).
• Scripting/automation with Python or Shell.
• Knowledge of software supply chain security and release security.
• Docker, containers, Istio or similar service mesh.
