Application Software Engineer, Applied AI

📋 Description

• Develop AI-powered software for SpaceX production, flight, and Starlink
• Build apps using large language models and agentic AI capabilities
• Own end-to-end lifecycle from prototype to production
• Analyze user problems; deliver production-grade AI solutions
• Architect production systems for agentic workflows and multi-agent systems
• Create evaluation and observability for AI quality, safety, and cost

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, math, or science; or 2+ years' software exp
• 1+ year experience in full-stack development
• Hands-on experience evaluating, deploying, integrating AI models
• Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka (or similar)
• Front-end experience (React/Angular) and databases (PostgreSQL/SQL Server)
• Strong software fundamentals; ability to build reliable, scalable production systems
