Application Support Analyst

📋 Description

• Investigate incidents using logs, SQL and application code
• Diagnose application, database, integration and service issues
• Read and debug Java code to identify faults and improvements
• Manage incidents, problems, requests and changes
• Communicate service impact and resolution times to stakeholders
• Deliver fixes, enhancements and preventative improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Strong SQL skills including queries and stored procedures
• Working knowledge of Java with code reading/debugging
• Experience supporting business-critical apps in production
• Knowledge of relational databases, ideally Sybase
• Understanding of incident and change management processes
• Clear communication skills for varied audiences
