Applied AI Lead - Calgary

📋 Description

• Build, prototype, and ship AI-enabled solutions inside client environments
• Bridge modern AI tooling with operational tech (OT) and legacy IT systems
• Collaborate with AI Transformation Managers and Sia’s Data & AI teams on live client engagements
• Own technical delivery end-to-end including testing and hand-off to client teams
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and delivery plans

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8+ years in software or AI/ML with production deployment experience
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI: LLMs, AI agents, copilots, RAG, or workflow automation
• Proficiency in Python or similar language; experience with AI/ML frameworks and one major cloud
• Experience integrating AI with enterprise data platforms, OT/IT environments
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders; client-facing experience
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
