• Translate business problems into scientific formulations, metrics, experiments
• Shape ads roadmap with Eng, product, design, analytics
• Improve ads quality, relevance, efficiency, and performance
• Provide technical leadership: mentoring, design reviews, experimentation
• Share methods and patterns with the applied science community

🎯 Requirements

• Ads/RecSys/Search: build and productionize ML, ranking, or optimization
• Passion for Applied Science and ML: data-driven problem solver
• Production-grade ML: end-to-end lifecycle from idea to production
• Strong ML & statistics foundations for reliable models
• Engineering excellence: Python, some SQL, write production code
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Analytical problem solving: break down challenges into ML problems
• Understanding of experimental design and analysis
