Applied Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and develop ML models for search relevance and ranking.
• Apply state-of-the-art ML solutions to our stack to impact metrics.
• End-to-end ML work: framing, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and analysts to translate research into customer impact.
• Contribute to the Applied Science community via knowledge sharing and reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years hands-on applied ML with production model shipping (PhD welcome).
• Solid experience in Search: query understanding, intent, or semantic search.
• Proficient in Python; experienced with ML frameworks and large-scale data processing.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Experience with NLP, dense retrieval, learning-to-rank, or embedding methods is a plus.
