AR & Deductions Manager

📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of AR Coordinators, setting roles, goals, KPIs, and holding team
• Assign and prioritize team work across cash application, collections, and deductions to maximize
• Review team work including deduction coding, dispute packages, and write-off requests, approving
• Run a weekly team operating rhythm on open deductions, collections status, aging, escalations, and
• Build team capability through training and cross-training to ensure no single-person dependencies.
• Conduct performance reviews and recommend staffing, hiring, and team structure as business grows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7+ years of AR, collections, and deductions experience in CPG food or beverage, including
• Direct experience resolving deductions with major retailers (Walmart, Kroger, Costco, Target) with
• 3+ years of people management experience leading AR, collections, deductions staff, including KPIs
• Demonstrated ownership of credit and collections including credit limits, high-risk account
• Strong understanding of trade promotion mechanics, distributor chargebacks, and deductions tied to
• Working knowledge of GAAP for AR, revenue recognition, trade accruals, allowance for doubtful
