Area Environmental Specialist

📋 Description

• Partner with plant leaders to ensure compliance with environmental permits, regulations, and
• Provide technical support for air, water, wastewater, stormwater, waste management, and
• Conduct environmental audits, assessments, and compliance reviews across multiple facilities.
• Identify compliance risks, develop corrective actions, and help drive environmental improvement
• Support regulatory inspections, environmental reporting, and agency interactions.
• Track environmental performance metrics and sustainability initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, EHS
• 5+ years of environmental compliance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience conducting environmental audits and compliance assessments.
• Working knowledge of the Clean Air Act, Title V permitting, and related environmental programs.
• Proven ability to lead environmental initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
