Area Sales Manager - Lending

📋 Description

• Grow Merchant Lending penetration and credit distribution in the geography.
• Drive visibility and deployment of lending products: Merchant Loans, BNPL, QR-linked credit.
• Lead cross-sell of Gold SIP, Insurance, and other merchant financial tools to boost revenue-per-merchant.
• Identify, recruit, and manage a field sales team (5–10 Team Leads; 100+ indirect staff).
• Define market size, span, funnel metrics, and territories for Team Leads to maximise efficiency.
• Ensure clear plans/targets and minimize gaps between delivery and targets.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as Sales Leader & People Manager in lending/fintech.
• Ability to grow lending penetration and strengthen underwriting funnel.
• Experience deploying lending products: Merchant Loans, BNPL, QR-linked credit, overdraft.
• Strong track record in cross-selling Gold SIP, Insurance, and other merchant tools.
• Experience recruiting and managing field sales teams (5–10 Team Leads; 100+ indirect staff).
• Excellent planning, communication, and execution to meet targets.
• Portfolio management skills including repayment, fraud checks, onboarding quality.
