Area Sales Manager - Lending

📋 Description

• Lead Merchant Lending growth in the assigned region and boost credit distribution.
• Drive visibility and deployment of lending products (Merchant Loans, BNPL, QR-linked credit
• Cross-sell Gold SIP, Insurance, and other merchant tools to increase revenue per merchant.
• Recruit and manage a field sales team (5–10 Team Leads, 100+ indirect staff) to accelerate lending
• Define market size, funnel metrics, and territories for Team Leads to maximise efficiency.
• Monitor portfolio quality, repayment behavior, fraud checks, and onboarding quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in sales leadership within merchant lending or similar financial services.
• Strong cross-sell capabilities across financial products and merchant ecosystems.
• Proven ability to build and mentor large on-ground sales teams.
• Strategic planning to define territories, funnels, and targets.
• Adequate rigor in underwriting and loan file validations.
