Asset Accounting Senior Expert

📋 Description

• Execute fixed asset accounting operations accurately and within reporting deadlines.
• Manage accounting across the full fixed asset lifecycle: acquisitions, capitalization, transfers, retirements, disposals.
• Partner with Controlling, Procurement, Legal, Product Supply, and Financial Accounting to ensure proper treatment and compliance.
• Maintain effective internal controls supporting accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other initiatives from an accounting perspective.
• Participate in process optimization and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and accounting quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting/finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards for fixed assets.
• Lifecycle: capitalization, depreciation, disposals, etc.
• Experience with intercompany accounting transactions.
• Ability to interpret changing accounting regulations.
