Assistant Audio & MIT Technician

📋 Description

• Setup, tune, maintain, and repair instruments and playback systems.
• Operate the sound console for performances and rehearsals.
• Monitor in-ear mixes and playback for performer comfort.
• Prepare and tune band instruments before shows.
• Execute show cues, sound checks, and system checks.
• Assist with load-in/load-out and touring equipment prep.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years live sound for theatre, concerts, or touring.
• Digital mixing consoles, playback systems, mics, and IEM.
• Instrument maintenance and tuning (percussion, strings, electronic).
• Audio networking, RF coordination, and power distribution preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to work in fast-paced touring.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and travel domestically (Nov 2026–Dec 2026).
