Assistant Carpentry Technician – Blue Man Group North American Tour

📋 Description

• Support the Head of Carpentry in scenic, rigging, and deck operations
• Run assigned show tracks during performances and cues
• Serve as a technical swing across Lighting, Video, Props and Wardrobe
• Maintain and check scenic and automation equipment for safety
• Daily maintenance, repairs, and replenishment of scenic consumables and hardware
• Assist with load-in/load-out and transport of scenic equipment

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years in theatrical carpentry, rigging, or live production
• Experience with scenic, mechanical, or automation systems
• Able to read tech drawings and cue sheets
• Lift at least 50 lbs; work at heights
• Touring experience preferred; travel domestically for Nov–Dec 2026
• Eligible to work in the United States
