Assistant Controller

📋 Description

• Lead the month-end close for timely, accurate financial reporting.
• AI-first accounting: automate journal entries, reconciliations, and variance reporting.
• Technical accounting: stock-based comp, leases, software costs, M&A (ASC 718/842/350-40/805).
• Consolidation: lead monthly intercompany consolidation across entities and GAAP compliance.
• Financial reporting: timely monthly/quarterly/annual reports including cash flow; actionable variance analysis.
• ERP strategy: design and implement ERP to optimize financial platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years accounting/financial management; 5+ years supervision.
• Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm experience.
• Deep GAAP and technical accounting knowledge (ASC 718/842/350-40/805).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite) and advanced Excel modeling.
• Experience modernizing accounting ops; AI/automation adoption.
