Assistant Financial Controller

📋 Description

• Own consolidated US GAAP financials for six subsidiaries in multiple currencies.
• Liaise with Deloitte US for annual audit; manage PBCs, audit packages, and item resolution.
• Prepare technical memos for complex transactions (revenue, leases, software, equity).
• Lead US tax compliance: ASC 740, SALT nexus, tax provision workpapers.
• Oversee foreign subsidiary statutory audits and intercompany consolidation.
• Drive month-end close (7 business days) and ASC 842; advance AI automation in close.

🎯 Requirements

• Industry experience: 5+ yrs in senior accounting at US SaaS/tech startup; Big4 preferred.
• Public accounting: 2–3 yrs at a Big 4 with US GAAP audits.
• CPA license: Active US CPA; intl equivalents considered.
• US GAAP depth: ASC 606, 740, 842, 830, 350-40, 805.
• Consolidated financials for multi-entity org; foreign sub oversight.
• AI fluency with accounting automation; NetSuite OneWorld experience.
