Assistant General Counsel, Commercial

📋 Description

• Lead and grow Fastly’s Commercial Legal attorneys in the US.
• Manage complex enterprise deals, MSAs, and partner agreements.
• Advise on data privacy, AI regulations, and related commercial terms.
• Draft and negotiate vendor, infrastructure, and other US agreements.
• Partner with GTM, Deal Desk, Security, Procurement and Revenue Accounting.
• Improve templates, playbooks, and resources to speed negotiations.

🎯 Requirements

• JD and active bar in NY, CA or another US jurisdiction.
• 12+ years combined law firm and in-house experience in revenue-generating commercial transactions.
• 2+ years' experience managing attorneys or legal professionals.
• Deep experience negotiating enterprise cloud, SaaS, and usage-based terms; data processing/AIs
• Strong product knowledge in Fastly’s tech space and cross-functional GTM support.
