Assistant Lighting Technician – Blue Man Group North American Tour

📋 Description

• Assist with setup, focus, programming, and operation of lighting systems.
• Support Head of Lighting to ensure cues and looks are consistent.
• Perform daily checks and maintenance of lighting fixtures and cabling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve lighting or electrical issues quickly.
• Maintain show documentation, cue sheets, and follow-up notes.
• Ensure safe rigging and handling of lighting equipment.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in theatrical or live event lighting.
• Knowledge of intelligent fixtures, dimming, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with GrandMA lighting consoles required.
• Experience with rigging, truss systems, and safe work practices at height.
• Ability to read and follow lighting plots, circuit schedules, and cue sheets.
• Touring experience strongly preferred.
