Assistant Manager of Food Services

📋 Description

• Oversee planning, prep, and presentation of all GLIDE meals.
• Direct cooks, volunteers, and workers in meal prep and service.
• Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and meal program stock.
• Prepare orders with Meals Program Manager within budget.
• Ensure proper storage and handling; monitor safety practices.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and sanitation schedules.

🎯 Requirements

• AA Degree in Culinary and/or Food Service Management or equivalent.
• 3-5 years experience in a commercial/institutional kitchen.
• Strong typing and data entry accuracy.
• Experience with community-based social service work serving marginalized populations.
• Excellent food service, prep, and menu planning abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
