Assistant Plant Engineer

📋 Description

• Inspect and maintain plant systems, equipment, facilities, and grounds.
• Lead safety and environmental compliance; implement corrective actions.
• Direct engineering staff on projects related to plant systems and equipment.
• Prepare estimates and specifications for plant projects within budget.
• Supervise training and oversee the plant apprenticeship program.
• Ensure efficiency and high standards in plant operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years post-bachelor experience in glass manufacturing roles.
• Experience with technical estimates and project management for equipment/process changes.
• Preventive maintenance inspections and root cause analysis for safety incidents.
• Designing, programming, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical control systems.
• Domestic travel up to 5% for training; standard benefits.
