📋 Description

• Evaluate system-referred new business submissions, change requests, and renewals within assigned
• Review homeowner and mobile home policy risks for accurate data and coverage decisions.
• Analyze policy amendments and decide to accept, modify, decline, or refer.
• Communicate underwriting decisions with agents, insureds, and stakeholders.
• Process specialized data entries, bulk changes, and policy updates accurately.
• Recommend termination of accounts after evaluating options and risk.

🎯 Requirements

• College degree, insurance-related designation, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in underwriting, claims, sales, or related fields; or 3–5 years underwriting
• Knowledge of insurance principles, risk evaluation, and underwriting processes.
• Ability to interpret procedures, regulations, manuals, and technical docs.
• Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional interactions.
