Associate Chemist - Environment Testing - 2nd Shift, Tues-Sat

📋 Description

• Completing all training in a timely and complete manner
• Working with an experienced analyst/mentor preparing samples and standards for analysis
• Running instrumentation independently and/or with guidance including GC/FID, GC/TCD, purge and trap
• Performing routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Making dilutions using pipettes, syringes and other common laboratory equipment
• Proper documentation of standard/sample preparation and instrument maintenance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field, or equivalent relevant experience in the field
• Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write and speak in
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Ideal: BS in Chemistry
• Ideal: Analytical Chemistry coursework
• Ideal: Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
