Associate Director - Accounting Advisory

📋 Description

• Provide guidance on accounting/finance functions (financial reporting, ops, technical accounting, corporate transactions)
• Design financial reporting processes, restatement assistance, and filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K)
• Improve operational accounting; optimize finance and accounting functions
• Analyze complex accounting issues: debt/equity, revenue recognition, stock-based comp, consolidations, M&A, leases
• Prepare technical accounting memos and conclusions
• Mentor teams; coaching, feedback, and performance reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years advising commercial companies in financial reporting, ops, policy implementation, and complex transactions
• Experience in professional services (public accounting, advisory, or management consulting)
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Proven track record building strong client relationships
• Change agent; championing and implementing new ideas
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA preferred
