Associate Director, Data Engineering

📋 Description

• Define and own the NAMER data engineering roadmap.
• Lead and develop a data engineering team with technical direction.
• Architect scalable GCP data solutions from ingestion to warehousing.
• Own data quality across pipelines: reliability, performance, QA, docs.
• Partner with Data Science, Analytics, and clients to scope solutions.
• Represent the data engineering practice in client conversations and proposals.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data engineering, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Deep hands-on GCP expertise: BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Dataflow.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, production-grade pipelines.
• Experience designing data warehouses/data marts at scale.
• Solid batch and streaming pipeline patterns; know which to use.
• Orchestration tools (Airflow/Cloud Composer) and CI/CD (Git, Terraform).
