Associate Director, Data Engineering

📋 Description

• Build, maintain, and scale production data pipelines in client ecosystems.
• Architect robust data solutions ensuring data quality and scalability.
• Write production-grade data code and apply software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Data Science to operationalize models in production.
• Drive data delivery improvements and partner with cross-functional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering; degree in CS or Statistics or equivalent.
• Build scalable data pipelines with SQL, Python, and Databricks.
• ELT, data lakes/lakehouses, warehouses, and metadata-driven architectures.
• Git, code reviews, modular/testable data code, CI/CD, automated tests, IaC.
• Python and SQL proficiency; orchestration frameworks; data modeling, governance, and observability.
• Agile/DataOps; client-facing; independent or team work; AI workflows in client env a bonus.
