Associate Director, Discovery Pharmacology

📋 Description

• Lead discovery pharmacology strategy from concept to IND-enabling entry.
• Design and execute biochemical, biophysical, and cell-based assays.
• Own pharmacology readouts linking exposure, target engagement, and PD.
• Mentor scientists and foster rigorous cross-functional collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in toxicology/pharmacology/mol. biology or cell biology; 4+ yrs industry; MS 6y; BS 10y.
• ≥2 yrs in small biotech; remote work experience desirable.
• Experience in pharmacology and early PoC studies for discovery and IND-enabling.
• Publications and experimental summaries experience.
• Ability to interpret complex biology into MOA.
• Experience leading external CROs/consultants.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong written/verbal/presentation skills; travel 20–25%.
